Last year Genevieve’s sister, Sarah Cortese, was involved in a car accident that left her suffering from a Traumatic Brain Injury. Through time, she has recovered significantly, and this year the Cortese/Padalecki family is taking part in a fundraiser/walk to raise funds for the Brain Injury of California. I need YOUR help…
Thank you for visiting my personal Fundraising Page for this event Please help me reach my goal by making an online gift today or by registering to be part of my team!
Founded in 2005, the Brain Injury Association of California (BIACAL) is a chartered state affiliate of the Brain Injury Association of America (BIAA), the country’s oldest and largest nationwide brain injury advocacy organization. With a joint mission to advance brain injury prevention, research, treatment and education, BIACAL strives to improve the quality of life for all Californians affected by brain injury.
Locally, BIACAL hosts a monthly brain injury support group, provides all-sport helmets to children, and is a participating sponsor of the newly formed Kern County Concussion Consortium that will provide training to physicians, coaches, athletic directors, athletes and parents.
You can help make a difference by making an online donation today. Simply click on the ‘Support Me’ button. You will automatically receive an acknowledgment and I will be notified by email of your support. Together we are truly making a difference for those in need!
If you are unable to participate in the event, I would like to encourage you to register as a “virtual” participant so you can create a personalized fundraising page and help to raise funds for BIACAL.
Thanks for helping me to reach my goal!
